Nearly 160 of the FIQ and FIQP’s union reps took part in the most recent edition of the Network of OHS Union Representatives. The two days of presentations, discussions and workshops were organized around the theme “Spotlight on key OHS actors.”
Regarding the Network of OHS Union Representatives, Isabelle Groulx, an OHS Committee member, explained: “You don’t work on occupational health and safety prevention all alone in your office. That’s not how it works. Prevention happens through team work, by sharing methods that work and don’t work.”
Union reps who attend the Network of OHS Union Representatives benefit from training that equips them with tools to better help and represent their members.
