Status of Women Committee

CIUSSS de l'Estrie - Centre Hosp. Univ. de Sherbrooke (FIQ – Syndicat des professionnelles en soins des Cantons-de-l’Est)

I am a woman, respiratory therapist and proud mother of four young adults. As a member of the SPSCE executive, I am involved in the challenges facing the healthcare professionals and I have been fighting to defend our rights and conditions for a long time.

In 2017, there is still a lot to do so that women here and elsewhere take their rightful place. Equality goes through a balanced sharing of responsibilities. The salary gaps, organizational violence and discrimination show us that we still have work to do.

Together, we can act collectively, recognize that our efforts must continue to denounce unacceptable situations and promote the respect of and well-being of women.

Today, I pledge to support the status of women cause and invest in promoting better conditions for the future.
Thank you for allowing me to help with you!
