Patrice Dulmaine

Occupational Health and Safety Committee

CIUSSS du Saguenay - Lac-Saint-Jean (FIQ – Syndicat des professionnelles en soins du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean)

I am a nurse from the Saguenay Lac St-Jean region and have been working in the profession for 16 years. I have been involved in my union for five years. At the last convention, I was lucky enough to be elected to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee. It was an enriching and unforgettable experience. We worked hard to start the first occupational health and safety networks, we created tools for the members and union reps and we had discussions at our meetings.

I completed a college diploma and then my bachelor’s degree by accumulating certificates, including one in occupational health and safety. I am a co-president of the CPSST committee in my institution. I promote health and safety and try to make it a daily priority at work for our members. I believe I am an ideal candidate for another term because I would like to continue to represent the regions, to further occupational health and safety and because it’s a passion of mine! I am an approachable person who is easy to talk to and trustworthy. I make it my duty to promote occupational health and safety.
