12 days of action on violence against women

Violence against women is still all-too common in everyday life and remains a serious issue. There will be several initiatives led as part of the 12 days of action on violence against women, which will run from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 6, a day to commemorate the anti-feminist attack on women at the École Polytechnique in 1989 during which 14 women were murdered.

In Quebec, the Comité 12 jours, composed of several groups of women, including the FFQ, has been overseeing the activities since 2008.

Please go to the FFQ website to learn about more ways to get involved.
