Every year, the Federation marks Licensed Practical Nurses Day on May 5, Nurses Day on May 12, Respiratory Therapists Day on May 19 and Clinical Perfusionists Day on May 26.

Open houses were held at St. Mary’s Hospital on April 26 and 27 last. These days helped to welcome the new members and to answer their questions. The members of St. Mary’s joined the FIQ following the period for changing union allegiance.

It was under the theme of “Prendre sa place : des actions concrètes” (Take her place: concrete actions) that the Women’s Network was held in Drummondville on April 27.

The United Health Care Professionals (FIQ) – UHCP which represents the new members affiliated to the FIQ at Hôpital Sainte-Anne Anciens Combattants (St. Anne’s Veterans Hospital) have just concluded their first collective agreement!
