Currently lives in: Québec City
Job title: Critical care nurse working in cardiac surgery at the IUCPQ for 17 years.
Union background: When I started my career, I quickly became an active unionist and mobilizer who fought for our working conditions. I started as a Labour Relations VP and I have been president of the SIIQ team since 2016.
Qualities: Authentic leader, honest, determined, fighting spirit, engaged, articulate and perseverant. I like teamwork. I am very adaptable and have extensive knowledge of the collective agreement. I participate actively in Labour Relations and on the Committee on Care regarding the work overload.
Priorities: Implementing ratios, eliminating mandatory overtime, enhancing our working conditions and listening to your needs in every setting.
I want: a historic collective agreement, for all 76,000 healthcare professionals to be represented, without exception. No promises, only action!
I am a licensed practical nurse, respiratory therapist, nurse and clinical perfusionist.
I am the candidate for the 2020 collective agreement who will represent you based on your needs.
