When we go somewhere else and the occupational health and safety plan is different
Our members from other cultures are essential actors that our organization cannot do without. However, should we not question their understanding of the protection of their occupational health?
As a society, Québec has adapted legislative measures which forbid employers from ignoring their employees’ health.
As members of an organization that advocates the values of justice and equity, it is everyone’s responsibility to talk to them and make them aware of the laws and regulations that exist to protect Québec workers. In addition, the local union team should advise them and support them in making sure their rights are respected.
Quebecers and new Quebecers, wherever you were born, the union encourages you to advocate for your rights!
