Annual OHS Week 2015: I am taking a position for my health!
Occupational health and safety is a constant concern, even in the current context of major transformations. Indeed, if healthcare professionals’ capacity and limits, individual as well as collective, are not fully taken into consideration, it can affect their health and safety in many ways. After all, it’s not just up to them to compensate for difficulties, to be flexible and adapt to constraints imposed in a context of austerity. That is why the committee would like everyone to repeat “I am taking a position for my health!” every day. Because they need to take care of themselves to be able to continue to fulfil their potential and provide care without risking their health.
