COVID-19: Two years of crisis in the health network

Since the WHO declared a pandemic two years ago today, women in the health network across Canada have seen their working conditions deteriorate at an alarming rate.

Today, on the initiative of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions, representatives of health workers are joining their voices in an unprecedented pan-Canadian action of solidarity and mobilizing to turn the tide.

In Québec, the government strategies, based solely on temporary premiums, will not be enough to bring back an adequate number of healthcare professionals to the network.

To be able to provide safe, quality care, it is urgent that our governments implement bold and respectful policies for healthcare professionals, like implementing ratios and the end of MOT.

Canadian unions united in this fight:
