Briefs and opinions
As a labour organization, the FIQ actively carries out its role as an agent of social change. As such, it engages in societal debates to defend and promote the interests and concerns of the healthcare professionals it represents, but also those of the public. The FIQ strongly believes that participating in these discussions is essential in influencing public policies and contributing to building a more just and fair society. It is in this spirit that the FIQ regularly submits briefs and opinions to parliamentary committees, addressing a variety of issues such as health, working conditions, pay equity, family rights and many others. These briefs and opinions reflect not only the concerns and aspirations of healthcare professionals, but also the feminist values and principles of social justice at the heart of our mission.
We invite you to consult the briefs submitted by the FIQ, which demonstrate our ongoing commitment and willingness to participate constructively in the legislative and decision-making processes.
