Members of the Syndicat des professionnelles en soins des Laurentides (FIQ – SPSL) demonstrated in silence in the halls of the Human Resources department in Mont-Laurier and Rivière-Rouge.

Nearly 100 FIQ and FIQP members aged 35 and under participated in the recent Youth Network.

The union representatives of five Montreal unions affiliated with the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec – FIQ are uniting their voices to speak up for the 17,000 nurses, licensed practical nurses, respiratory therapists and clinical perfusionists that they represent.

After a month of activities for its members and, still in the midst of local negotiations, the union used signs and post-its to help send its messages to the Employer.

The government has a real opportunity to make a difference for families, workers and healthcare professionals.

The FIQ – Syndicat des professionnelles en soins de Montérégie-Centre organized a meal with a comedy show in honour of Health Month on May 15 and 16.
