Meeting in a virtual Provincial Council on Tuesday, the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec–FIQ and FIQ | Secteur privé delegates adopted the new tentative agreement reached in the last few hours with the government on the sectoral matters at 82%.

More than a year after filing the union demands on the healthcare professionals’ working conditions, the delegates representing all the FIQ and FIQP affiliated unions adopted a sectoral tentative agreement on working conditions at a virtual Provincial Council on December 8, 2020.

As a symbolic gesture, the FIQ union representatives honoured the memory of the 14 women victims of the killings at the Polytechnique on December 6, 1989. They thus commit to continuing the battle against violence against women.
