Last spring, the FIQ launched a new platform enabling its affiliated unions to administer their own website for free. The idea was met with great enthusiasm and most of the FIQ’s member unions got on board and are currently developing their own website on the platform.

The Administrative Labour Tribunal (TAT) once again conceded that the FIQ was justified in its request to include healthcare professionals from private employment agencies in its bargaining unit.

The APTS, CSN and FIQ send a demand letter to the Health Minister

As agreed at their meeting with Mr. Barrette on July 13, 2017, the three MUHC unions’ spokespeople reiterated their demand for seats on the MUHC’s Board of Directors. They demanded “three permanent seats among the ten vacant on the institution’s Board of Directors.” In other words, one seat per labour organization involved.
