Dear colleagues,

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Francis Charbonneau, Respiratory Therapist and Vice-President at the CISSS des Laurentides. Today, I am enthusiastically seeking a mandate on the first FIQ Communication Committee.

In my ten years or so of experience, I have been on the FIQ Youth Committee for 7 years. That work enabled me to participate in the Publications Review Committee, which gives me a good basis for the Communication Committee.

I am currently responsible for communications for the large region of the Laurentians. This mandate allows me to work every day with social media, the web site and others. I am constantly working to improve our union’s communications by deploying different means to reach as many members as possible (Podcast, Facebook Live).

I sincerely care about union involvement and members’ opinions. It is with this in mind that I will take the time to analyze and improve the Federation’s communications.

It would be a great honour for me to gain your trust, and I will put the new Communication Committee in place with all the energy I am known for.
