International Women’s Day 2021: Let’s listen to women

The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has shown the need to act for lasting equality. During this historic time, we are demanding “Let’s listen to women” and be part of this long-awaited change.

The theme, Let’s listen to women aims to illustrate the following observation: women want concrete measures to tackle the poverty and violence they suffer to significantly improve their living and working conditions.

The image highlights women in all their diversity in order to represent the plurality of their realities and feminist struggles they face. It is through collective, unified and interrelated actions that we can aspire to a profound transformation of society. The goal is that every woman who looks at this illustration should recognize herself in it and know that her voice counts, there is an awareness of her reality and she will be heard!

With this slogan, we are committing to a simple, but transformative action. If we listen to women instead of ignoring them, devaluing their work, under paying them and overlooking them in places where decisions are made, we would be in a whole new world.

A world where the elimination of poverty and violence, as well as climate change are a social and government priority. A world where all women are finally treated as equals. We’ve been imaging this world for a long time, let’s achieve it now.
