The goal was simple. Allow you to more easily obtain a position in another institution, according to your needs and career path.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>A year later, nothing has changed.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Your seniority can still not be used to obtain a position in another network institution. \u00a0A difficult situation to explain, given that the exodus to the private sector is a major challenge for the network throughout Qu\u00e9bec.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h5>Unions join forces to make progress on the issue<\/h5>\r\n<p>Faced with this finding, the health and social services network unions (APTS, FIQ, FP-CSN, FSSS-CSN, FSQ-CSQ, SCFP-FTQ and SQEES-FTQ) joined forces to make progress on the issue.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>Negotiations have been ongoing for two months to allow employees to:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Use their seniority when they change institutions<\/li>\r\n<li>Obtain a vacant position in another institution, after an internal posting<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h5>What we are demanding\u00a0<\/h5>\r\n<p>We are demanding simple and fair measures:\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>That positions are first posted locally<\/li>\r\n<li>That, if they remain vacant, they are offered to all network staff<\/li>\r\n<li>That acquired seniority is taken into account in granting positions<\/li>\r\n<li>That there is no new probation period with a change of institution<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>A person who has already proven themselves within the network should not have to start from scratch simply because they are changing workplaces.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h5>Where are we now?\u00a0<\/h5>\r\n<p>Discussions are ongoing. The employer party is currently reviewing our demands and has shown openness to dialogue, allowing us to continue constructive discussions.<\/p>\r\n<p>This file is crucial.
