Several meetings during the summer
The FIQ managed to convince the employer party of the pertinence of negotiating its’ members working conditions now, to find lasting solutions to the excessive workload in the health and social services network. The two parties agree on the need to negotiate quickly, while taking the time required for properly analyzing the issues and problems.
Several meetings between the FIQ representatives and employer party will be held over the summer to negotiate the members’ working conditions. The objective of these meetings is to explain the Federation’s demands and their surrounding context first and hear the employer’s position.
