The Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec–FIQ will be holding elections at its next federal council, which will be on December 9, 10 and 11,  2025. These elections will be for six positions on the Anti-Racism Standing Committee.

The Anti-Racism Committee is dedicated to fighting against racism in healthcare institutions and within the Federation. It collaborates on the implementation of the Policy on the Fair Representation of Women in Positions of Power and Decision-Making, strengthens anti-racist union practices through training, documents contexts with reports of racism, and raises awareness in our environments to prevent discriminatory behaviour.

Racialized people interested in applying must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a Canadian citizen;
  • Be a member in good standing of a FIQ affiliated union;
  • Be an official delegate registered for the Federal Council on December 9, 10 and 11, 2025.
