Since 2005 the FIQ has been celebrating Healthcare Professional Month in May.

This month is a time to take a moment to celebrate the efforts we put in every day, the big and small battles we face, but above all, to remember the vital role that healthcare professionals play within the healthcare system!

• May 5: Licensed Practical Nurses’ Day
• May 12: Nurses’ Day (provincially and internationally)
• May 19: Respiratory Therapists’ Day
• May 26: Clinical Perfusionists’ Day
