Patricia Lajoie

As a long-standing union representative, I have worked alongside numerous union teams and held key positions that have allowed me to observe both the best and worst of management practices. From this rich experience on the ground, one thing has become clear: people must be at the heart of our priorities.

To turn this vision into action, I am currently completing a certificate in human resources management, where I have honed my skills in active listening, communication and modern conflict resolution. Already involved in our internal code of conduct committee, I now wish to put this dual expertise—practical and theoretical—to work for our shared future.

Driven by positive and caring leadership, I am running for this role with the conviction that I will be an asset to the committee. Together, let’s join forces to build a strong code of conduct that ensures a healthy environment where every union rep feels fully respected, protected and valued, regardless of their position within the organization.
