Jawad Lasri

A committed healthcare professional, I am currently an assistant to the immediate superior at the Maison des Aînés en Montérégie-Est, while also the OWPP vice-president on the FIQ-SPSME executive committee. I am also involved on various committees, at both the FIQ provincial level and the local level.

I believe it is essential to review and improve the steps in working together more effectively in a respectful and inspiring atmosphere.

I am submitting my candidacy with ambition, conviction and commitment, in the hope of making a tangible contribution to the work of this committee. Together, we can establish sound and inspiring guidelines for effective collective action, fostering a healthy, inclusive and motivating environment within our union teams, where every union rep feels listened to, respected, protected and recognized, regardless of their role within the organization.

With this candidacy, I would like to play an active role in developing best practices that clarify expected behaviour, support the commitment of union reps and foster a collaborative atmosphere, while respecting the autonomy of affiliated unions.
