Dear union representatives,

I started my career at the CHUM and I am now at the CIUSSS du Saguenay – Lac-Saint-Jean. This diversity of backgrounds has enabled me to understand a number of realities in the field.

A proud union rep since 2015, I am already a member of the FIQ Status of Women Committee and I am enthusiastically soliciting a second term in order to defend women’s rights both at the FIQ and in our workplaces. I’d like to raise the profile of local status of women committees and, above all, provide them with the tools they need. I also want to continue tackling current feminist issues as nothing can be taken for granted, such as:

• Pay equity and the recognition of women’s work in the health sector.
• Violence against women, particularly the need for better support for victims in our institutions.
• Women’s mental health in the workplace.

My commitment and my experience in the field are assets which I will use to help the committee continue to advance our causes.
