Sandra Perrier

Hello dear union representatives,

My name is Sandra Perrier. I have been a licensed practical nurse team leader at the CISSS des Laurentides for nine years. I currently work at a CHSLD in the Antoine-Labelle region.

My union career started in February 2021 as a union representative and member of the local youth committee. I have been a grievance agent since June 2024.

Today I am proudly running for a position on the FIQ’s Youth Committee for a second term. I strongly believe in collective power and the key role of youth in our union movement. It is important to give young union reps a voice, whether in councils or networks. Their involvement is thought-provoking and brings other ways of looking at things.

Once elected, I’ll be available to affiliated unions, as needed, to help them keep their local youth committee alive by highlighting the implementation guide, and I’ll continue the work in which the youth committee is already involved.
