Dear union representatives,

I have been a licensed practical nurse since 2011, mainly in CHSLDs and rehabilitation. Curious and committed by nature, I’ve always enjoyed getting involved in various projects. I was the grievance agent for my local union, SPSMC, for four years and I am now the treasurer.

Today, I am submitting my candidacy for the Union Defence Fund Committee, as I would like to be more involved in our organization. As a pragmatic and rational person, this committee appeals to me because it touches directly on values that I hold dear, namely fairness and justice.

My aim is to help ensure that the fund’s resources are managed and allocated in a fair and transparent way so that we can effectively support our members.
