Dear union representatives,

My name is Mélanie. I am a nurse clinician and I have been a committed union rep for more than five years on the Internal Audit Committee and Status of Women Committee at the FIQ – SPS de Montérégie-Est.

Driven by the values of solidarity, respect, transparency, commitment and integrity, I want to actively contribute to the sound and responsible management of our Federation’s finances. I believe in fair, consistent union governance that focuses on the collective interest.

My objective is to defend the rights of our members while ensuring sustainable financial health at the FIQ. This involves rigorous monitoring of expenses, compliance with delegation decisions, risk prevention and clear financial accountability.

Promoting a balanced budget and strengthening transparency and solidarity: these are my priorities for preserving our long-term capacity for action.

I want to carry out this role with rigour and commitment, in the service of everyone.
