Dear union representatives,

It is with great passion and determination that I submit my candidacy today.

I have worked as a licensed practical nurse since 2008, and since 2014, I have had the opportunity to be involved as a union rep. I started as a grievance agent and, in 2019, I became OHS vice-president, in charge of the OHS/disability team.

Over the years, I have witnessed the deterioration of healthcare professionals’ working conditions, which strengthened my motivation to take action. I aim to not only improve conditions, but also to guarantee the protection of the health and safety of all my colleagues. As a proud union rep for the health and safety of my members, my involvement on the OHS committee has been a rewarding experience.

Over the last four years, it has enabled me to share memorable moments and to work on a number of networks. I am a woman of heart, conviction and unity, which is why I am seeking a second term from you today.
