Myriam Martin

Dear union reps,

My name is Myriam. I have been a licensed practical nurse in a CHSLD for 5 years and have been on the local youth committee for 3 years.

I was lucky enough to attend a network, an inspiring experience that made me want to get more involved. I am also a new substitute for the SPSMC.

Joining the provincial Youth Committee is an opportunity for me to make my generation’s voice heard, propose concrete ideas and actively participate in meaningful projects.

I am particularly interested in promoting our profession and improving working conditions, two key issues for attracting and retaining young people in the network.

I am dynamic, committed and a good listener, and I believe I can make a constructive contribution to the team. My experience and involvement demonstrate my desire to work for positive and lasting change.
