Dear union representatives,

My name is Stéphanie. I have been a nurse clinician at the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre since 2006. I mainly worked in the ER and in cardiology. I have been a union rep since 2019 and am currently VP, RLT.

OHS is an issue that is particularly important to me, mainly because I suffered an occupational injury that could have been prevented. This personal experience strengthens my motivation every day to advance OHS in all areas. It’s a subject that is still not addressed enough, especially in the healthcare sector.

I have the OHS mandate for my team and had the opportunity to act as a leader during the implementation of the LMRSST project in the Montérégie-Centre region.

To further develop my skills, I also completed a certificate in occupational health and safety. My goal is clear: to put OHS at the forefront to protect our colleagues and improve our workplaces.

Because every preventable injury is a collective responsibility, I am committed to making OHS a top priority.
