It is with enthusiasm and pride that I am running for my second term on the FIQ’s Internal Audit Committee.

I am a nurse clinician by training, and have more than 20 years of union experience, including several mandates with the Federation, both on standing committees and ad hoc committees (Youth, OHS, pay equity audit, Bill 15). Being on these committees helped me to gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of our organization.

Since 2017, I have also held the role of secretary-treasurer in my local union with rigour, a valuable experience that makes a tangible contribution to the work of the IAC.

My involvement is based on fundamental values: respect, integrity, solidarity and transparency. As a staunch ally of my colleagues in the defence of the status of women, these principles have always guided my actions, and I pledge to continue putting them to work in service of the committee.

I sincerely thank you for considering my candidacy and hope I have the privilege of continuing this important mission.
