Dear FIQ union representatives,

I would like to submit my application for the Education-Animation Committee. As a nurse with over 20 years of experience and as an active union member, currently serving as interim VP MOB-COM for the West Island of Montreal, I am committed to ensuring that the concerns and needs of healthcare professionals are taken into account in the training and education offered to members and union representatives.

My work in critical care has given me an understanding of the challenges faced by healthcare professionals. I firmly believe that our perspectives and experiences must be integrated into union training. Well-designed training programs can increase members’ skills, strengthen our solidarity, and improve our collective ability to advocate for better working conditions.

I would like to join the committee and support its mission of providing relevant and effective training to our delegates and members with energy and rigour. Thank you for considering my application.
