Hélène Vézina

Hello FIQ colleagues,

My name is Hélène Vézina. I have been a licensed practical nurse team leader in a CHSLD at the CISSS des Laurentides since 2003.

I am part of the FIQ-SPSL executive committee as vice-president of the North Sector for two years. I have nearly 10 years of union experience in different positions for my union. My experience in the field has shown me the extent to which gender inequalities persist in our workplaces, whether in terms of mental workload, work-life balance, professional recognition or violence at work.

I hereby submit my candidacy for a second term on this committee.

I hope to actively invest in the committee to promote a feminist, inclusive, and intersectional vision of our union action.

I’m convinced that my commitment, collaborative spirit and will to defend women’s rights will be valuable assets for the committee. I would be honoured to be able to put my skills to use in this collective mission.
