Linda Gingras

I am pleased to submit my candidacy for the FIQ standing Anti-Racism Committee with a deep desire to listen, empathize and engage in dialogue. As a concerned woman, I am convinced that racism, in all its forms, remains an issue that is often overlooked. Yet it is a reality in our daily lives that disrupts lives and careers and leaves wounds that should never be ignored.

My intention is to help create a welcoming space where everyone can share their experiences, concerns and ideas.

I believe that by welcoming these voices with respect and sensitivity we can move forward together towards sustainable solutions.

This committee should be a place where bridges are built, solidarity is cultivated and a culture of inclusion is fostered.

I am committed to working with enthusiasm, patience and determination, prioritizing listening and mutual understanding.

I wish to contribute, within the FIQ, to a climate where every person feels recognized and respected so that equality and dignity are experienced on a daily basis.
