Long involved in the fight for equity and social justice, I would like to put my expertise and determination to work for the Status of Women Committee to promote a professional environment that is truly inclusive. An environment where women can flourish, free of the glass ceiling and systemic discrimination.

My involvement as an activist and union rep both bear witness to this uncompromising commitment:

• Grievance agent at the SPSL
•  Active member of the ad hoc anti-racism committee, I fight against all intersectional forms of oppression
• Involved in the ad hoc MOT committee

Gender equality is not an option, it’s imperative. That is why I want to take concrete action:

• True pay equity, with no gaps and no excuses.
• Zero tolerance for sexist violence, with effective protection mechanisms
• Parity in decision-making bodies

I have always been fighting this battle. I identified injustices very early on and I decided to fight them relentlessly. I am a proud feminist, resolute activist, and I reject any complacency to inequality.

On this committee, I want to turn talk into action and advance our rights, without making concessions.
