Dear union representatives,
I have been a licensed practical nurse in the network since 2008. I became active at the FIQ in 2014 as a grievance agent, and for two years now I have been on the FIQ SPSESTIM executive committee as OHS vice-president and in charge of coordinating the CNESST disability cases for the CIUSSS. My indignation at the organizational violence suffered by my colleagues is an inexhaustible source of motivation for me.
The pandemic revealed all the negligence and improvisation regarding prevention (network and CNESST). Ministerial orders sent our professionals to the front lines without proper PPE. Today more than ever before I am determined to defend our right to prevention and safety at work. This fight has even become a personal and professional objective. And so, with optimism and determination I am running for the standing OHS committee.
I am committed to improving the physical safety and mental health of healthcare professionals.
I am a woman with heart, a union rep who fights every day, and ready to take on the challenges ahead. I humbly ask you to support my candidacy.
Thank you for your support!
