I have been a member of the FIQ’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee for two terms and am running for a third. I believe that occupational health and safety is crucial today and that we must continue to improve our conditions and ultimately focus more on preventing than reacting.
I am a nurse. I completed my technical training and then went on to university to obtain a graduate specialization in global health. Over the years, I also earned a certificate in occupational health and safety.
I am an analytical person who loves to take on challenges and is always looking to surpass limits. I helped to implement several OHS processes within my institution. Equipped with experience and knowledge in occupational health and safety, including experience in the FIQ’s debates and decision-making over the last few years, I make an ideal candidate for the OHS Committee.
