2021-2023 collective agreement

The 2021-2023 collective agreement, based on the principle of stability of work teams, will go into effect on October 10, 2021.

The signature of the collective agreement marks the beginning of the healthcare professionals’ receiving the recognition premium.

A few important dates

January 25, 2021: Change to ranking 28 for SNPs goes into effect

October 10, 2021: Collective agreement goes into effect. Workweek increased to 37.5 hours for all healthcare professionals and to 40 hours for SNPs. The 3.5% recognition premium for healthcare professionals applies.

November 6, 2021: Deadline for the payment of the 1st lump sum of $0.33/paid hour

Around mid-November, 2021: Payment of the lump sum to clinical perfusionists (may vary depending on the pay period for each institution)

January 5, 2022: Deadline for the payment of all salary and lump sum retroactivity for certain licensed practical nurses and licensed practical nurse team leaders and ranking 28 for SNPs

Mid-January 2022: Deadline for the payment of the 2nd lump sum of $0.33/paid hour
