As healthcare professionals across Quebec mobilize to denounce excessive workloads and demand safe ratios, the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec (FIQ) is launching the #PourquoiJeMeMobilise campaign.

This initiative aims to give members a voice so that they can express, in their own words, the reasons that drive their mobilization.

Very concrete reasons for mobilizing

For several weeks now, teams on the ground have been speaking out against the excessive workload that is compromising both their practice and the quality of care provided to the public.

In this context, the FIQ invites its members to share the concrete reasons why they are taking action, for example:

• To be able to take time for lunch
• To not burnout professionally
• To provide safe care

A collaborative campaign

Using the hashtag #PourquoiJeMeMobilise, healthcare professionals are invited to speak out on social media and make their voices heard.

To support their participation, the FIQ is providing a range of tools, including:

• Ready-to-use visuals
• Customizable Canva templates
• Sample phrases to share
• Simple tips for creating a post with the campaign logo and icons
• A form to submit a testimonial directly

The FIQ is also providing posters to raise awareness about the campaign in the workplace and mobilize as many people as possible.
