Bargaining sessions on May 5, 11 and 18, 2021

These three bargaining sessions dealt with retirement, parental rights and regional disparities. The issue of salaries was not addressed, despite the government’s eagerness to settle the negotiations quickly, mentioned in a press conference on May 2, 2021.

The major labour bodies have accepted the government’s proposal of inter-round committees. Therefore, since the pension plan (RREGOP) and parental rights apply to all government employees, the APTS-FIQ Alliance demands will be discussed in these committees.

After 18 months of discussions, the government finally agreed to address the issue of regional disparities. The employer party asked many questions about the Alliance’s demands, without however, accepting them or making new proposals.
