Status of Women Committee

CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre

Dear union representatives,

I have been a nurse at the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre for 14 years. I am proud to run for a second term on the Status of Women Committee.

My personal journey has affected me deeply: I survived domestic violence, and I have witnessed numerous injustices that continue to affect too many women today. These ordeals have shaped me and fuelled my desire to get actively involved in making a difference. Defending women’s rights is not just a union commitment for me, it’s a mission deeply rooted in my personal life.

Through my involvement on the committee, I’ve had the opportunity to take part in concrete actions, to speak for those who are not always heard, and to create spaces for solidarity.

I want to continue this work with you and for you, with a focus on listening, respect and sisterhood. Together, we can continue to build a fairer, more just environment for all women.

Thank you for your trust and support.
