We’re almost at that time of year, with year-end celebrations just around the corner. 

Lots of people look forward to the holidays, but for many healthcare professionals, this is a very busy, even stressful time, both at work and at home. 

Between the preparations, the long work hours and the festivities, fatigue quickly sets in. 

You have my utmost admiration. 

Your commitment, professionalism and solidarity are unparallelled.  

The public is fortunate to be able to count on you. 

Great challenges lay ahead in 2026, but we are ready. 

We have lots of ideas and will need your help to implement them. 

Until then, I wish you a festive season filled with love, kindness and, I hope, some well-deserved rest, surrounded by the people who make you happy.
